A Little R&R by the River

Hubby wanted to go do a little fishing, so we headed to the river...I laughed so hard, can you see the bottom of his shorts?? a little wet?? Yes, he slipped.
I sat comfortably on the side of the bank...what a beautiful spot
I pulled out my paints...
starte working on my "Quilt" charms
25 down...about 10 more to go. They all have shimmer paint on them, and little tiny designs. Now to paint the other side and then the soldering! Wish me luck on my soldering...at least this will give me lots of practice!!

I love that you took your paints and dabbled and played while your husband was taking a dunk in the river!! :) These quilt squares are wonderful...you'll certainly have plenty of practice with soldering...and they will be great!

Hi, Laurie -
After talking to you on Saturday and meeting your hubby I can just imagine the great time you had getting out of town and heading to the river! And I love the way you spend the time working on your gorgeous creations. Can't wait to see your quilt charms. I know they will be gorgeous! Sending you an email soon about my thoughts for a sweet little piece of yours! I may have to drive your direction and buy one soon! Oh, yes, of course I would drive that way to see my kids and grandkids! ~Adrienne~

Hi Laurie, Your quilt paintings are so precious - they will make lovely charms! Have you heard from Somerset about your birds? I especiall like the blackbirds - really cute for Halloween! My hubby likes to fish too, you never know when or if you're gonna fall in! Catching the fish is the BIG thing though!
Have a great week,
xoxo
